The Best Materials for Packaging Samples

In order to provide products with a protected and polished look, you may want to have the right materials for the job. The right materials means that you’ll convey the correct effects. Here, we’ll go over the different aspects of the packaging samples which are out there, and how you can ensure that you’ve got the right materials possible.

For Rigid Gift Boxes

A lot of products need to look good, and rigid gift boxes are the best for you to use. They’re sturdier due to being made from chipboard.  To make this, the chipboard is first cut to different sizes, is formed, and finally wrapped with a smaller, thinner paper. The artwork goes directly on that.

A lot of people like this one because it’s pretty sophisticated, and they tend to take up a little more storage space due to how they’re shipped. They also tend to cost a bit more than the average packaging. But, if you’re selling a luxury product, this is something that’ll definitely impact the customer’s appearance

People are willing to pay more for it, and since the hold up well under duress, the products are left safe. Once these arrive, they’re assembled completely so brands can save some money on labor. These are best used for jewelry, perfumes, and electronics.

Folding Cartons

They’re basically paperboard packaging that’ll offer a basic protection for these products.

Folding carton options are usually either made from kraft paperboard or SBS.  This artwork is then printed on the surface directly. Direct printing is easy, cost-effective, and also brands the products.

You’ll also save a bunch of money on storage and shipping because they’re shipped flat. You just have to assemble them. They’re great for cosmetics and basic products. While not as strong as rigid boxes, there is something about these that works well, especially if the items aren’t breakable.

Like with sample packaging, you can get some prototypes, and also use different sizes, colors, and various designs too!

Letho Lam Corrugate

This is something that’s good if you want something that costs very little, has some great graphics, and material that’s absolutely durable.

Corrugated cardboard is basically two layers that are exterior, with a fluted layer inside. This improves durability.

Lots of brands will use corrugated types of cardboard as the means to ship these materials. This is because they’re both resilient, and incredibly lightweight. The artwork printed on these is typically affixed to the outside part which covers this.

You’ll also be able to print on the layer that’s exterior, so it makes the branding packaging and artwork easier to look at.

While there is no guarantee with long-distance types of shipping, these corrugated boxes can also withstand drops, moisture, and temperature changes. A lot of customers like these too since they are more sustainable in terms of options.

They are great too for eye-catching printing, as they can keep your costs low, and decrease the merchandise.

Plastic and PET

This is polyethylene terephthalate plastic, or PET. It’s super common for packaging. It’s food-safe, and perfect for molding into all shapes utilizing thermoforming. It’s sturdy, even once the plastic is tried.

It’s versatile, durable, and lightweight. Companies that sell food use this due to it being food grade.

It also is good for kitchenware and toys. It’s transparent, so great for ensuring that the products speak for themselves. The best part is that this is one of the better options, as it won’t’ be as harmful to the environment when you compare this to other forms of packaging that’s out there.
